What is culture?
Culture starts with what people do and how they do it. What people do may not differ dramatically, but high-performing organizations distinguish themselves in how they do it. This cumulative effect of what is done and how it is done ultimately determines an organization’s performance.
Culture is an unwritten rulebook that prevails as a common belief about what gets done, ‘how it is done’, what works, what doesn’t, which rules must be followed, which ones can be overlooked
Why "Safety Culture"?
Safety is a matter of prime concern for the shipping industry as it is considered a high-risk industry, and working in this industry is recognized as one of the most dangerous occupations.
Creating procedures, checklists, renewed vision, fancy mission & stated values, won’t make a difference unless it affects the collective thinking of the people, ie the culture of the organization.
Safety needs to be deeply embedded in the culture of the organization and should be reflected in the attitudes, beliefs, perceptions, and values that employees share in relation to safety in the workplace.

We customise workshops & training programs as per the vision, mission, and goals of the organization. Our training process begins with a detailed understanding of Behavioural issues and gaps that are impacting the organization's performance and growth. We identify Social & Emotional Competencies required to accomplish the Key Performance Indicators and perform a detailed Gap analysis to determine development areas crucial for the organization's success. We then formulate mutually agreed upon goals, which are then broken into SMART objectives to develop training solutions customised towards the organization's needs.
